Morgan is a 9 year old girl learning to deal with diabetes. She checks her sugar every day aroung 5-7 times every day and takes 4 shots a day.  She has been very brave and has tried to stay positive.  It always helps when she meets or finds out about other children that also have diabetes and how they are coping with everything because so many times at school and church she is the only one with diabetes.

Mindy (Morgan's mom), Paducah, KY

Kitties and Paws was sent with love to Morgan, age 9.  Morgan was diagnosed August 10, 2005 with type 1 diabetes.

The quilt was pieced (with a little help from mom) by Elizabeth, age 7, who also has type 1 diabetes and shipped 10/18/2006.
